A mini album is an excellent choice for a single vacation without enough photographs to fill a larger album.

You've taken the time to capture the perfect shots of your vacation -- or perhaps you've taken dozens of photos. Now you want to show them off. What to do? Dedicate one album to vacation memories! Los Angeles host Stephanie Rahmatulla discusses a few of the types available.

    Single Vacation Album

    • Holds photos from one vacation only -- perfect for recording vacations where you've taken a lot of photos

    • Works well with simple layout and journaling (telling the story of your vacation experience is crucial for helping to vividly remember it later)

    Multiple Vacation Albums

    • Ideal for recording multiple trips in one album (particularly if you take several smaller trips throughout the year)

    • Vacations are recorded in chronological order

    • Works well with a title page created for each vacation, with each vacation having a different color palette to distinguish it from the others and create a unifying theme throughout the album

    Mini Albums

    • Great for a beginner who might be intimidated by a huge project

    • Great host gift for a special someone whose home you might stay in during your vacation

    • To minimize effort and time spent on the project, choose 2-4 colors of cardstock to alternate throughout the pages. Don't forget journaling!
