Bubble WandsTools:
wire coat hanger
needle-nose pliers
scrapbooking wire mesh
scissors
permanent marker
1. Open the hanger so that you have one long piece of wire. Bend the center of the wire to form a circle/loop approximately 7"-9" around (figure A). Twist the remaining ends of the wire together to form a handle. Use needle-nose pliers to form a small loop at the ends of the wire. This will create a finished look and secure any sharp edges.2. Lay the loop part of the wand onto a piece of wire mesh and trace around the loop with a permanent marker (figure B), leaving a small border (1/2"). Cut the circle shape from the wire mesh.
3. Use your fingers to pinch back any rough edges. Center the loop of the wand on top of the wire circle and use the pliers or your fingers to crimp the edges of the wire over the edges of the loop (figure C). Use scissors to snip away any sharp edges.
4. Dip the bubble wand into the bubble mixture and wave in arcs to create a skyful of bubbles.
