Use stacking clear containers to store very small beads and findings vertically. You can find these containers at your arts and craft stores.
Use watchmaker tins (figure A) to store small beads and findings horizontally. Watchmakers use these tins to store all their small parts.
Sort small beads and findings while working on a current project by using a muffin tin (figure B). That way all your beads are in one place for the project you are working on.
Organize trims and ribbons by tying them together with a chenille stem and then sorting them by color in zip lock baggies. These baggies can then be stored in metal tins by color as well.
Organize jewelry by keeping it in old metal boxes with decorative finishes.
