    Figure B

A Carol Duvall Show viewer sent the following tip to Suzanne McNeill, founder of Design Originals:

When you need to trace a pattern onto dark fabric, begin by tracing it onto a piece of white tulle with a black Sharpie. marker. Lay the tulle pattern on the fabric, and trace over the black markings with white chalk or a white chalk pencil (figure A). The chalk goes through the tulle, and the design is transferred (figure B). The tulle pattern can be reused.
