    Materials:

    28 oz. tin can
    1-12" wide metallic ribbon
    Metallic rickrack
    Fabri-Tac
    Hot glue gun and glue
    Nuts (as in nuts and bolts)
    24" piece of 18 or 20 gauge bailing wire
    Wire cutters
    Long pencil
    Metallic embroidered medallion as centerpiece
    Nail
    Hammer
    Wood block to hammer onto
    Glossy wood tone for finishing spray

    1. Take the label off and wash the inside and outside of the can.

    2. From the inside out hammer a nail into each side of top of can (figure A) for handle holes.

    3. Cut your wire about 24" long with wire cutters.

    4. Coil the center part of the wire around a pencil to create a handle (figure B). Leave about 5" on each end. Loosen it a little and pull it off the pencil.

    5. Thread each end of wire from outside in and bend wire up over the edge and then down on outside of the can. Snip the extra off.

    6. Glue wide ribbon around the center of the can starting from the middle of the front and wrap around to meet the other end.

    7. Starting in the back, glue rickrack around the top and bottom of the can.

    8. Hot glue the medallion onto the wide ribbon in the center (figure C).

    9. Hot glue three nuts to the bottom of the can spacing them evenly.

    10. Spray with Design Master glossy wood tone for an aged look.
