Knoxville, Tenn – May 2007 – Are you an avid do-it-yourselfer? Interested in a ceiling fan you can install in under five minutes or instant hot water in the shower? Look no further than your television on Sunday, May 13 with the premiere of DIY Network’s annual installment of DIY Inside: The Builders’ Show (9 p.m. ET). DIY takes viewers where most can’t go for an inside look at 1,900 exhibitors in over a million-and-a-half square feet displaying the newest tools and trends for making the do-it-yourselfer’s next project easier.

"We have improved the way we covered this year’s Builders’ Show by bringing more of our experts to cover specific areas of home improvement," says Freddy James, vice president of DIY programming. "With the general public not allowed into the show, the purpose of the special is to inform viewers as to what will be available to them in the future to help them get the job done more efficiently. We also hope it inspires novice do-it-yourselfers to tackle bigger projects."

DIY home improvement experts Karl Champley and Amy Devers along with Dean Marsico, Derek Stearns, Amy Matthews and Paul Ryan scour the aisles of the biggest builders’ show in history, putting the latest tools, materials and building techniques to the how-to test. From heating to hi-tech, viewers learn about practical how-to technologies for the home.
