Jeanne Benedict is fast becoming a household name and face! Jeanne's popularity has been on the rise since her first book, The Sophisticated Cookie, published by Penguin-Putnam, Inc., hit the shelves in September 1998. This success was followed by Sophisticated Entertaining: Spirited Food for Grown-Up Parties (October 2000), Celebrations: A Joyous Guide to the Holidays From Past to Present (November 2001) and a humorous book on another limb of the lifestyle tree entitled Pregnant for 100 Years (April 2004).

TV viewers know Jeanne from over 100 appearances as a lifestyles expert and chef on shows such as Live with Regis & Kelly, the CBS Saturday Early Show and many more. Currently Jeanne, along with CBS Sports' Phil Simms, is the spokesperson for www.hometailgating.com, where a lucky entrant wins a football party of his or her dreams and a special in-home concert with Clint Black. Past promotional partnerships have been with 1-800-FLOWERS, RIT Dye and C&H Sugar, where her comedic "how-to" video, Gingerbread House Party, was offered on 6,000,000 boxes of sugar.

In 1987, Jeanne hit the Los Angeles party circuit as an event coordinator and chef for high-power political and celebrity social functions. In 1991, she launched own catering company, Ice Entertainment, specializing in inventive theme parties for a Hollywood clientele. Jeanne lives in LA with her husband and their 6-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter.
