    Quick Furnace Maintenance

    1. Inspect the exhaust and intake vents for critters (clean if necessary) and vacuum out the delivery ducts.

    2. Check electrical contacts (figure A). Make sure they are tight and dry.

    3. Remove the plug off the circuit board and spray with electrical contact cleaner and preservative.

    4. Next check the ducting system (figure B) to make sure it is tight and hasn't been jostled during the trip.

    5. Also make sure to vacuum out all the vents inside the RV as dirt can accumulate in these areas. It is a good idea to do this several times a year.

    Owner's Advice

    • Bring a portable canopy or pop-up tent with you on trips. It's a great way to free up space under your awning and supplies additional dining space for the family.

    • To prevent lingering cook odor in your RV, bring an electric grill along for cooking bacon. That way you can cook outside and not have the smell in your rig.
