In this project, Tricked Out host Andrew Totolos installs a variety of light effects on a1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The lighting upgrade is almost complete. Andrew performs one more trick when he replaces the factory windshield washer nozzles with inexpensive lighted nozzles.
Remove the factory nozzles. First unplug the nozzle from the supply hose under the hood, and then use needle-nose pliers to loosen the plastic nut under the nozzle.
Unscrew the nut and pop the nozzle out from the top of the hood. Then snake the leads from the new nozzle through the hole and set it into place.
Carefully attach the nut underneath the hood and tighten it down. Do the same to the other side and reconnect the supply lines.
Wire-tie the leads to the supply lines and run them down to just above the grommet in the firewall.
From there, cut a length of split loom that will extend from the top of the grommet and tuck the wires inside.
Finish up under the hood by snaking the washer nozzle wire through the grommet to the inside of the car.
Under the dash, attach a fuse tap to the positive lead and an eyelet connector to the ground. The fuse tap gets connected to the parking light fuse so the nozzle lights will come on automatically, and
